About Us

Who We Are

We are the Rajasthan's first moringa processing unit and the fastest going team for assembling and altering the utilization of each part of moringa plant such as seed, leaves, fruit, flower, root and stem. We utilize latest technologies and manufacturing equipments to ensure quality of products. Our interest is to consistently search the new molecules out of the moringa plant for improvement of nation’s health in more than one way.

Moringa Oleifera seeds are promising resource for food and non-food applications, due to their content of mono unsaturated fatty acids(MUFA/SFA) ratio, sterols and tocopherols, as well as proteins rich in sulfated amino acids. All Parts of Moringa tree(leaves, seeds, roots and flowers) are suitable for human and animal consumption. The leaves, which are rich in proteins, minerals, β- carotene and antioxidant compounds, are used not only for human and animal nutrition but also in traditional medicine .

The seeds, instead, have attracted scientific interest as M. olifera seed kernels contain a significant amount of oil( upto 40%) with a high quality fatty Acid composition( oleic acid > 70% ) and, after refining, a notable resistance to oxidative degradation. The oil is known commercially as "Ben Oil" or "Behen Oil". its properties make it suitable for both human consumption and commercial purposes. Indeed , Moringa oil could be a good substitute for olive oil in the diet as balance for non-food application , like bio-diesel, cosmetics, and a lubricant for fine machinery.

Apart from the oil, the seed has high protein content , on average 31.4%, where as carbohydrate ,fibre and ash contents are 18.4%, 7.3% and 6.2% respectively. The total phenolic Content of M. olifera seeds has been found to be in the range of 4581- 4953 mg/100gm. interestingly, M.olifera seeds also contain important Bio active compounds including alkaloids, glucosinolates, isothiocyanates and thiocarbamates. One Study reported that M.olifera seeds posses hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties against Tetrachloromethane induced liver damage nd fibrosis.

Moringa is an important food source in some parts of the world. Because it can be grown cheaply and easily, and the leaves retain lots of vitamins and minerals when dried, moringa is used in India and Africa in feeding programs to fight malnutrition. The immature green pods (drumsticks) are prepared similarly to green beans, while the seeds are removed from more mature pods and cooked like peas or roasted like nuts.

The leaves are cooked and used like spinach, and they are also dried and powdered for use as a condiment. The seed cake remaining after oil extraction is used as a fertilizer and also to purify well water and to remove salt from seawater.
